So you really get what you pay using supplements?

supplements
When you pay for a particular supplement, you must make sure it’s doing what it was design to. Many markets on the shelf do not meet the requirements to their target consumers – we don’t live in a perfect world so this is a common occurrence. If you knew that a supplement didn’t contain it’s labeled ingredients you wouldn’t buy it.
Can nutritional company’s get away with this?
Nutritional company’s must get a competitive advantage on one another so they cut corners to lower overhead costs. They are all competing for Dollars, Euros and Pounds, therefore, they lower their prices by lowering the amount of the supplement included.
For example: A company can make a supplement and only put 80% of what the label said, that is a 20% price decrease for the company. BUT you are paying for 100% of the supplement added – make sense? That is a 20% profit for them they can pocket.
This is a fairly common practice that occurs with name brands and generic visions of the same supplement.
How can you tell is you bought a supplement like this?
Sorry to break the news but you really can’t tell the difference, unless you have a chemistry set handy. You will have to take their word for it and trust in what they are selling is in fact, 100% true.
This type of behavior displays a lack of respect for the consumer no doubt about it. It is a scam that hopefully in time will be filtered out of the nutritional supplement business forever.
