Yep, that’s me now.
I know what you might be saying:
You’re a genetic freak… you don’t have to work for it… you can put an inch on your biceps by just “looking” at weights… or (the all time favorite) you must be on steroids.
Listen – there IS such a thing as a “genetic freak”:
Every human being alive today (including you). We’re ALL genetic freaks… every one of us.
Our species has spent a million years surviving and adapting on this planet.
We’ve paid our genetic dues just by managing to stay alive this long.
If I made it to where I’m at now, so can you… because we’re both made of
the same basic DNA structure.
I was not born with the body that you see now. I spent a lot of years
messing around with BS diets and lifting routines.
Every once and a while I managed to drop a few lbs, or even get a little blood
pumping in the gym, but the results were limited and short lived.
My life felt about the same…
I was lazy, fat, and pitiful on the inside – at least I believed I was – and
I became anti-social and uncomfortable with myself.
I was jealous of others, and I avoided being around them – so it seemed
easier to just hide away. And over time, it just turned into a sort of “numbness”.
When you feel excluded, it becomes harder and harder to even want
to try socializing…
Hey – I don’t want to depress you here! Those days are happily forgettable
now. You may not even have as much to overcome as I did, but I see it as
just another part of my success story.
The key point here is that I found a system that works for me, and now I’m
leading what I call my “next life”.
The difference between you and me up until now is simple:
I was lucky enough to learn about the equation a little earlier than you.
It’s your turn now.
And just like I did when I started out, you need to get bogus idea out
of your head, there is NO secret pill or overnight solution.
Even users of illegal anabolic steroids have to know what they’re doing if
they want to look good.
Otherwise, they’ll end up looking like overweight linebackers.
When I met John and shared my story with him, he asked me to join him at
the WTR blog, so that we could get the equation out there to you all.
I’ll tell you what worked for me and the lessons I learned along the way.
Because I know what it’s like to have no hope. To feel like you’re stuck –
and to feel like you’re BEYOND help.
So my purpose in doing this is to give people what I had once lost: Hope.
Even if all you do is read this page and realize that it’s possible to change -
to have a better life, regardless of your current weight – than my mission is
already accomplished.
Things CAN change! Always remember that.
The game is on. Are you in?
